Auto review: 2025 911 Carrera GTS Cabriolet rules the roads
Published in Business News
As Porsche enters Grasso’s Garage for the last time in 2025, we recognize a symbol of historical excellence: The 911 Carrera. Our GTS Cabriolet week-long tester was outstanding in the foothills of the Catskill Mountains in upstate New York as the windy and mountainous terrain were just the fit for a nice three-day top-down weekend cruise. Our 911 GTS Carrera Cabriolet's white exterior, black interior and red convertible top paired nicely with the high-gloss black brake calipers.
Priced at $175K base, 911 Carrera GTS Cabriolet is powered by a 3.6-liter T-hybrid Boxer six-cylinder engine that produces 532 horsepower and 449 pound-feet of torque. It has no problem getting up and going and sounding great while doing so. It has four drive modes and goes from zero to 60 mph in 3 seconds, making for an 11-second quarter-mile time.
Our 911 Carrera GTS Cabriolet came with an array of options, including an extended range fuel tank, front axle lift system, 18-way adaptive and ventilated sports seats with memory package and the Premium package including an ionizer, storage net, lane change assist and surround view with active parking support. A standard Porsche warranty of four years/50,000 miles and 24-hour roadside assistance was also noted. The 911 GTS Cabriolet delivers a great exterior aesthetic, design and that classic 911 styling that consumers continue to drool over.
As the 911 stands strong in the Porsche fleet, the Carrera GTS is easily their best looking, most enjoyable sports car. And Porsche's ever-evolving list of upgrades confirm no two Porsches are ever the same.
