Lamar Odom's kids didn't attend his wedding to Khloe Kardashian because they had "never met" the reality TV star.

The former basketball player married The Kardashians star in 2009 in front of TV cameras which captured the couple's big day for her reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians, but very few members of the groom's family were in attendance to see them tie the knot.

The pair dated for around a month before deciding to marry and Lamar's kids Destiny and LJ, who are both in their twenties, have now revealed they didn't get a chance to meet the bride in the run up to the wedding.

Speaking in new Netflix documentary, Untold: The Death Life of Lamar Odom, LJ explained: "I never even met her. I don't think he told me he was marrying her."

Destiny added: "I just didn't wanna be a show pony or anything like that. If you wanna get married in front of, like, a hundred people and all these cameras, that's totally cool, and it's on you."

However, LJ confessed he was happy about the marriage because he was convinced he would get some "good presents" from the Kardashian family at Christmas.

He said: "If I'm gonna be honest, when he was married to Khloe, I looked forward to Christmas 'cause I was like: 'I know Kris [Jenner] and Khloe are gonna give me some good presents."

LJ and Destiny's mom - Lamar's ex Liza Morales - also gave her thoughts on the wedding and revealed she thought the sports star was rushing into marriage.

She said: "I really thought he was joking [when he said he was getting married ... Of course when you decide to get married to someone in 30 days, of course it's gonna hurt. And on top of it, let me just stick it to you a little bit more, it's gonna be on on television."

Lamar's aunt Janean Mercer also claimed he failed to invite his family to the big day, saying: "None of us [were invited]."

In the documentary, Lamar told a different story and insisted it was Lisa who prevented his kids from coming to the wedding, saying: "My baby's mother didn't let [my children] come to my wedding. My own kids didn't come to my wedding."

Lamar's divorce from Khloe was finalised in 2016.
