Fantasy football Thursday: Start, sit and sleepers

Here are my fantasy football best bets for Thursday's Week 11 matchup between the New York Jets and New England Patriots:

N.Y. JETS AT NEW ENGLAND

Obvious starters: Breece Hall (NYJ), Drake Maye (NE), Stefon Diggs (NE), Patriots D/ST.

Who to start: Mason Taylor (NYJ) deserves streaming consideration with Garrett Wilson out against a defense allowing the ninth-most fantasy points to tight ends. TreVeyon Henderson (NE) is the overall RB7 in standard formats (RB6 in PPR) in the last two games with Rhamondre Stevenson sidelined with a toe injury. Hunter Henry (NE) deserves streaming consideration against a defense that has allowed seven TDs to tight ends in nine games this season.

Who to sit: Adonai Mitchell (NYJ) is a boom-or-bust candidate until we see how the Jets are going to use him. The Jets D/ST has been playing better, but it’s hard to trust it on a short week on the road against Maye. Isaiah Davis (NYJ) remains TD-dependent against a defense allowing the third-fewest fantasy points to running backs. DeMario Douglas (NE) remains a boom-or-bust candidate with three-or-fewer targets in five of the last seven games. Kyle Williams (NE) remains a boom-or-bust candidate with two-or-fewer targets in every game this season.

Sleeper(s): It’s gross to consider, but Justin Fields (NYJ) faces a defense that has allowed multiple TD passes in seven of the last nine games if your desperate at QB. Mack Hollins (NE) has flex appeal as the overall WR32 in standard formats (WR25 in PPR) since Week 8 with at least seven targets, six receptions and 89 yards in two of the last three games.

(NOTE: Sunday’s and Monday’s games will be updated by Friday.)
